Jewelry Care

POE pieces are made in solid 14K and 18K gold and are meant to be worn every day. A little care keeps them as they were made.

Wearing

Put your jewelry on last, after lotions, perfume and hair products, and take it off before swimming, bathing, exercise, gardening or cleaning. Chlorine and household chemicals can dull gold and loosen settings.

Cleaning

Soak your piece for a few minutes in warm water with a drop of mild soap, then brush gently with a soft toothbrush, paying attention to the back of each stone. Rinse, and pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners for pieces set with colored stones.

Storing

Keep each piece in its own pouch or compartment, so harder stones cannot scratch softer gold, and fasten necklaces so the chains do not tangle.

Checking and repairs

Every so often, look over your settings and clasps for any movement. If a stone feels loose or a piece needs attention, stop wearing it and contact us. We repair, resize and refinish POE jewelry at any time.
